Woo!
I'm getting a laptop for my birthday! I'm excited.
Also...my next couple of weekends are CRAZY busy, but I intend to hang out with lots of people.
Namely, Japheth, Laney and Emmy. Maybe more.
In other news, I'm hoping to do really well in Art History in the next two weeks. If I can get an A in both my summer classes I'll be ecstatic. I got a Betta fish. His name is Lucas, and he is really cool and I'm attempting to keep him alive longer than the last two fish I had. So far so good. I'm also having radom minor freakouts about actually graduating in a year. Every once in awhile I'm like...holy shit I'm grauating in a year, and I've got absolutely no idea what I'm doing after that. Everything's been pretty planned out my whole life, because of school. It's like, okay, I'll finish this grade and just move to the next. It's a little scary, to say the least. My mom is pulling for me to move back to Atlanta...
Sorry. Not a chance.
I miss my family, but there's no way I'm moving closer to my mother until I can completely sever all ties she has on me, namely my car, car insurance, and health insurance. Once I can get myself up and running on my own, I'll go from there.
I'll be 21 in a month, I'm gonna be an RA in Kennedy Apartments in the fall. I'm marching with a service award for $375 even though I didn't get captain, which just means a little less stress for me, and I like that. I'll be the editor for SAI and I'm super excited, I want to take a little (which is expensive, eek!) in the spring, and I'll be doing portfolio review! It's all coming crazy fast, but I can't help being excited about it, even though it's going to be extremely tough! This will be the most that I've taken on since I got to GSU, and I'm really hoping I can handle all of it and graduate on time like I'm hoping.
I have some great friends, a wonderful boyfriend, and this is pretty much as good as it's going to get right now.
Life is good.
